Healthy Crockpot Prep Class

When: Thursday March 7th from 6-8pm

Where: REC in Selinsgrove; 429 8th Street SelinsgrovePA 17870

In this fun, easy cooking class, we'll show you how to prep and store 8 healthy dinners for your on-the-go family.

Here's how it works: 1 week before the event, we'll provide you with a shopping list (approximately $100) for our 4 recipes (we double them to come out with 8 meals!). Bring your ingredients and supplies to the class. We'll cut and throw each meal into large ziplock bags. You'll go home and freeze your meals. When you're ready to use thaw the day before and then toss the meal into a crockpot on low all day. Come home to a delicious healthy family meal! It's that simple!

Things to bring: A large cutting board, a large chefs knife, a small paring knife, 2-3 large mixing bowls, a mixing spoon and all of your ingredients in a cooler. Women United will supply the ziplock bags and seasonings. (No need to actually bring a crockpot. Just make sure you have one at home!)

**Bring a friend or family member to help and have some fun!

Cost: $25.00 per person
Fee will sponsor local families in need with education in healthy food prep
